DESCRIPTION:2nd Saturdays: Beautiful Neighborhood PaintingSaturday\, February 14\, 2026 | 1:00–3:00 PM📍 Haggin Museum \nDiscover\, create\, and explore at the Haggin! 2nd Saturdays for Families are designed for children ages 5–12 and connect hands-on learning with the museum’s temporary exhibitions and permanent collection. \nEach monthly experience includes: \n\n\nA creative\, hands-on art project \n\n\nAn engaging STEM activity \n\n\nA docent-led read-aloud \n\n\nA self-guided Explore the Galleries activity for families to enjoy together \n\n\nThese activities encourage curiosity\, observation\, and imaginative thinking while helping children make meaningful connections between stories\, science\, history\, and works of art throughout the museum. \nFor this month’s theme\, families will celebrate the power of creativity to transform communities with City Makeover Paintings. Inspired by Maybe Something Beautiful\, children will reimagine neighborhoods through colorful\, imaginative cityscapes. This project aligns with the McKee Student Art Exhibition\, highlighting how young artists use creativity to transform spaces and bring people together. \nGood to know: \n\n\nReservations are not required \n\n\nActivities and materials are available first-come\, first-served \n\n\nIncluded with regular museum admission \n\n\nA perfect Saturday afternoon for creative kids and curious families!
