Each session includes: \n\n\nA creative art project \n\n\nAn engaging STEM activity \n\n\nA docent-led read-aloud \n\n\nA self-guided “Explore the Galleries” experience \n\n\nThese activities spark curiosity\, observation\, and imagination while helping children make meaningful connections between stories\, science\, history\, and art. \nThis month: Step back in time with Cave Wall Creations\, inspired by The First Drawing. Children will create their own cave-style drawings filled with animals and symbols\, exploring how early humans told stories through art. This project ties into the Native American Gallery’s rock art and animal paintings\, showing families how storytelling through images has spanned centuries. \nDetails: \n\n\nReservations are not required \n\n\nActivities and materials are available on a first-come\, first-served basis \n\n\nIncluded with regular museum admission
